On November 8, Science Development Foundation under President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and one of the known academic publishers “Thomson Reuters” have presented “Web of Science” prizes-2016 intended for scientific society of Azerbaijan.

Taking into account international criteria, on “Principal” and “Reign development” nominations the very fruitful institutions, authorative scientific journals and scientists were awarded. On “The Best Research Institute” nomination, the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS, on “New Web Scientific Journal” nomination “Azerbaijan Journal of Mathematics” journal of Azerbaijan Mathematical Society, on “The Best University” nomination Baku State University were awarded. Prizes on other nominations were also represented.
We congratulate the collective of our Institute and wish new successes in scientific activity.
